Origin

Deep in the Ilam district of eastern Nepal, where Akabare peppers grow wild at altitude in mineral-rich volcanic soil. The Timur berry — the Himalayan answer to Sichuan pepper — was added for its electric citrus bite and numbing finish. Two ancient ingredients from the same mountain range, never combined like this until now.
